DOT Safety VerificationsThe DOT Safety Verification obtains the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated driver safety records of an applicant. Information obtained can include driver vehicle type, reason for leaving, and safety performance history to include date, location, number of injuries, number of fatalities and/or Hazmat spill data for any incidents.

Motor Vehicle Records
The Motor Vehicle Record is obtained through a search of the state Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) records for derogatory information. Information can include license status, license class, issue date, expiration date, violations, suspensions, licensee address, date of birth, and physical description. Identifying information located in an MVR may be used to validate other criminal record search findings.

DOT Drug & Alcohol License Information System (CDLIS)
The CDLIS report enables account holders to comply with FMCSA requirements by searching within the Commercial Driver’s License Information System for prior license information and current CDL detail for up to three prior licenses held by the applicant. Clients are provided with present jurisdictional state and driver’s license number, name, DOB, social security number match, up to three previously held CDL numbers, and AKA information.

DOT Drug & Alcohol History Verification
The DOT Drug and Alcohol History Verification facilitates access to historical DOT-mandated drug and alcohol testing records from employers where the employee held a previous regulated position. All records are obtained in accordance with the processes set forth in CFR 49 Part 40. Information can include alcohol tests with a result of 0.04 or higher, verified positive drug tests, refusals to be tested, and documentation, if available, of completion of the return-to-duty process following violations.

DOT Employee History
Under CFR 49 Part 40, employers hiring workers who will perform safety-sensitive tasks and will be part of a random drug and/or alcohol screening pool, must obtain the previous DOT regulated drug and alcohol screening records from any previous employer where the employee was also part of a DOT-regulated drug and alcohol screening program for the time period specified by each DOT agency. DOT PSP Crash & Inspection Record
The Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) is a service that allows account holders and individual drivers to purchase driving records from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Motor Carrier Management Information System (MCMIS). The program enables motor carriers to make more informed hiring decisions by providing electronic access to a driver’s crash and inspection history. Information available includes five (5) years of crash and violation data found by the FMCSA MCMIS system: DOT Number, Number & Date of Crashes, Number of Injuries, Number of Fatalities, Carrier Name Inspection Activity 3-year history from MCMIS: Driver Inspections, Driver Out-of-Service Inspections and Service Rate, Hazmat Inspections, Hazmat Out-of-Service Inspections and Service Rate, Vehicle Out-of-Service Inspections and Service Rate, Inspection Details, Violation Summary.
